Fund-Frenzy sweepstake game cards operate in a manner reminiscent of other promotional games offered by various companies, such as Frito-Lay’s chip promotions, Coca-Cola’s beverage-based contests with access codes under bottle caps, and McDonald’s Monopoly game tied to the purchase of menu items. The shared characteristic among these promotions is the requirement to make a purchase in order to participate in the sweepstake game

Our primary role involves overseeing the logistical aspects of sweepstakes for non-profit organizations (“Customers”). This includes managing tasks such as ticket printing, conducting random drawings, drafting rules, and handling other administrative responsibilities on behalf of our Customers.

The Sweepstakes comprises a series of ongoing events, each sponsored by designated customers. The Administrator is responsible for creating the program, game cards, and sweepstakes rules. Customers are tasked with promoting the sweepstakes, handling funds, and fulfilling tax reporting obligations.

In compliance with regulatory requirements, FUNd-Frenzy is duly registered with various state agencies as an administrator of charitable solicitations. It is important to note that all proceeds generated from the sweepstakes are directly collected by the Customers themselves. As 501(c)(3) corporations, Customers bear the sole responsibility for fulfilling tax obligations and charity reporting requirements associated with the funds received

Offering Game Cards: To raise funds, customers sell FUNd-Frenzy Tickets, which include a membership access code for Frenzy-Savings.com. Underneath the ticket, a promotional sweepstakes Game Card offers a chance to win prize money. Game cards are free to consumers, and those who prefer not to pay can receive a Game Card only. FUNd-Frenzy does not directly offer game cards to consumers; customers distribute tickets according to their chosen solicitation process and in compliance with state charitable solicitation laws.

Game Card Structure: Each game card provides multiple chances to win, with details about chances, odds, prize amounts, and drawing dates outlined in the official rules. One game card is sufficient for entering all drawings during the Sweepstakes Period. Participants who receive tickets after the period may not be eligible for all drawings.

Determining Winners: Each game card contains one randomly generated Combination for four teams per contest week. At the end of each contest week, participants tally the points scored for each team. If the total points for a Combination rank among the highest or lowest for that contest, the participant wins a prize. Official rules specify which tickets win prizes, and participants can check their winning status with the customer or on the FUNd-Frenzy website.

Creation of Game Cards: Before each fundraiser, FUNd-Frenzy uses a random number generator to create combinations of teams or drivers, referred to as “Combinations.” The official rules of each fundraiser provide details on how each ticket is created. Using a second random generator, game cards are assigned these Combinations, which are then randomly distributed.

Customer Participation: Customers wishing to sponsor a sweepstakes must enter into an agreement with FUNd-Frenzy before the Sweepstakes Period begins. This agreement authorizes FUNd-Frenzy to manage the sweepstakes.

Cost of Participation: Customers purchase tickets in advance, covering the number they plan to distribute during the Sweepstakes Period. The fixed per-ticket price includes prize winnings and all costs associated with overseeing and running the promotion.

fundfrenzy company history

It all started about 25 years ago when Neil Quinn ran a fundraiser for his local parish and youth group at St. James Catholic Church in San Diego, CA. That fundraiser was essentially what we call FootballMania today. The fundraiser was unique, fun, and raised a lot of money for the parish. Parishioners were excited and sold the tickets to friends and family across southern California.

Some of the FootballMania tickets were sold to members of a Catholic parish located in the Los Angeles area. That parish loved the fundraiser and called St. James to ask how they too could run it. They were told, “You gotta talk to Neil Quinn.” Instead of trying to document and explain all that needed to be done to run FootballMania, Neil offered to donate his time to run it for the parish in Los Angeles as well. They sold thousands of tickets and it was a huge success.

Over the next few years a variety of churches and nonprofit organizations from across the country learned about FootballMania through word-of-mouth and contacted Neil to ask if they could use the fundraiser as well. Neil was completely surprised by the growing interest in his fundraiser, but was also extremely proud that he could help so many organizations raise money and do great things. He didn’t know if he had the time to help every organization that wanted to run FootballMania, but he also felt that he had an obligation to help them if he could. Neil started spending more and more of his time helping run the fundraisers for organizations across the US. He charged a small fee to cover his expenses and time and ran the operations completely out of his home as a small side business. fundfrenzy was born!

As the business continued to grow rapidly, it was clear Neil could no longer handle the workload by himself. So he brought on his son, Chris, and his daughter, Michele, to work part time. Fast forward to today and now Neil, Chris, Michele, and Michele’s husband, Jeff, are all full time partners at fundfrenzy and the business continues to grow from the word-of-mouth of happy customers.

We are truly blessed to work for the business we created and are extremely proud that we’ve helped so many great organizations raise so much money for such worthy causes. We pride ourselves on helping organizations do great things, and on providing exceptional personal customer service. We look forward to many more fundraising years in the future!
